GUEST: Dominik Taylor and Anjelica Hendriks, students in the School of Law at Washington & Lee University.

 

TOPIC: Taylor and Hendricks are members of “The Committee,” a group of students who have called on the University to apologize for its role in perpetuating human slavery in America, to remove the on-campus display of Confederate flags, and more. Taylor explains, “We the Committee want to open a dialogue and facilitate discussion so that we can become a closer, tighter-knit community where all students feel welcome, and they’re not bound by psychological shackles from things that have happened in the past.”
