Liberty University, the site of a reported 2002 sexual assault involving Jesse Matthew, the man charged with abducting Hannah Graham in Charlottesville in September 2014. Matthew was also named in a rape at Christopher Newport University in 2003.

Matthew is the 32-year old man charged in the abduction of second-year UVA student Hannah Graham, who was last seen in Charlottesville in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 13.
