TOPIC: Maurie joins Coy to discuss her new book, Slaves Waiting for Sale: Abolitionist Art and the American Slave Trade, which has inspired a new exhibit at the Library of Virginia. She explores the work of artist Eyre Crow and especially his painting (above) of a slave auction in Richmond, Virginia in the early 1850s.
