TOPIC: Kathleen joined the program to discuss a story that made international news: the excommunication of activist Kate Kelly from the Mormon Church. Kelly became the de facto leader of the church feminist movement after organizing the group Ordain Women in 2013 to demand that the Mormon Church allow women to be priests. On Monday, the all-male panel of church elders convicted her of apostasy.
